Meowtilation is an extreme metal solo project created by musician John Elvis (Nostra Cantus / Land of Souls) in November 2025.
The band naturally moves through subgenres such as Brutal Death Metal, Slam, Grind, Crust, and Technical Death Metal. It combines the modern heaviness of acts like Prostitute Disfigurement, Bloodbath, Vulvodynia, and Necrophagist with the technical structure and guitar solos of 1970s rock (Deep Purple, Rainbow, and Uriah Heep).
The project features heavily distorted and recontextualized samples from Brazilian films of the 1950s. Its visual identity and artwork are inspired by classic movie posters from the 1920s to the 1950s, featuring cats as the main characters—serving as an ironic and symbolic.

After the release of the pornogrind-esque debut EP "Finger-Lickin' Good!" and full-length album "Hot Trans Summer", Amy has expanded the sound of Girlcock by introducing elements of diverse genres of music such as electronica and melodic death metal, as seen in the "P RI D E" EP and "Femme Fatale Fuck Machine" album culminating into her melodic-goregrind opus "Fleshbound Adversity". Join Girlcock in celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in extreme metal music!
